Damelin-matric Online

Damelin-matric Online operates under the registration of Damelin Correspondence College with Umalusi (18 FETO2 00134 PA) and the Department of Higher Education and Training (2008/FE07/037).

The Online technology and pedagogy are provided by Uni4 Online and uses the latest in technology in learning design and facilitating the learning platform with support.

Studying with Damelin-matric Online provides you with a very modern eLearning and support collaboration platform.

National Senior Certificate (NSC)

Matric certificate for those younger than 21 years of age who has been in school for less than three years ago.

Amended Senior Certificate (ASC)

Adult Matric certificate for those older than 21 years of age with at least a Grade 9 or having participated in Matric exams more than three years ago.

Equip-ship Tutor

Damelin-matric Online extra services to content, tutoring, and exam preparation. Get assisted by an Online teacher working alongside to ensure your support via live sessions to prepare you for your exams.

Exam Preparation

A two week bootcamp on subjects each with five live classes to prepare you for their specific examinations.

Damelin-matric Online is a new way of teaching. We're using technology in a new way to bring the most modern techniques and methods of learning via the Internet to Matric students.

Our CEO, David de Villiers, has always had the ambition to make a difference. This difference to manifest in Africa and the best method is education. As a technology enabler, he transposed this mechanism from the commercial realm into education. The goal is to transform learning.

The reality of Matric is that out of every 100 students only 63 sit for the exams and then only 36 pass Matric. From this number only 6% go to University. We believe that we can make a difference. Not by only helping the top performers, but everyone.

We provide you with the opportunity to engage with Online materials at your own pace and from your own space. Studying Online is more effective because you can choose the time to engage. The pace of study can also be adapted in moderation to allow your personal speed and motivation at the time. Matric Online is more convenient, more appropriate, more modern, and student centric.

All you need is a computer, access to the Internet, and a willingness to learn.

What's in the Box?

Damelin-matric Online offer advanced online lessons that are modern and use advanced techniques of online learning.

When you enrol with Damelin-matric Online you get immediate access to the Learning Hub and you can start your lessons. We also issue you a Microsoft Office 365 login that is an email address and access to the Microsoft Teams collaboration platform. This is an environment where you meet teachers and fellow students to share experiences and documents.

Our Student Success Coordinator (SCC) agents assist you with how to use the Learning Hub and help you where you should struggle. You can speak to them through the Live Chat on the website's Login page, from within the Learning Hub on that chat and forums or via the Teams environment. All your lessons and assessments are completed in the Learning Hub and marked by your teachers with the appropriate feedback.

To fortify your education with us, you can also buy additional assistance through one-on-one and live sessions with Equip-ship. Extra resources and teaching time can make the difference. You choose what you need and for how long.

In addition to our Online lessons, assessments, with teaching support, we also augment your options with extra services. These can be purchased for remedial support in challenging subjects or to enable you to reach for that distinction.

Engaging Online Materials

Damelin-matric Online provides access to engaging and interactive lessons. These allow you to navigate through each of your subjects’ curriculum at your pace and space. It's inclusive of testing your knowledge through continuous assessments the answers to check how you are progressing.

Live Tutoring Online

Attend live classes with our experienced online teachers. They guide you through critical areas of learning in each of the following subjects: Mathematics, Maths Literacy, Life Sciences, Accounting, and Physical Sciences. Ten live classes per subject and you can buy only enough to address your situation.

Exam Prep Bootcamp

A two week Bootcamp on subjects Mathematics, Mathematical Literacy, Life Sciences, Accounting, and Physical Sciences prepares you for the exam. Each subject has five classes and you choose only those that benefit you the most or that you find challengin.

Fully Equipped

Combine all the assistance packages for a full valet service that ensures that you have all the extra resources under your finger-tips. Be guided by a teacher in live sessions where you can address any element of your Matric, specifically, to get precise assistance.
